Can hypertension cause a sense of weakenss, fatigue, nausea, especially upon waking whether after a nap or from night sleep? I have sleep apnea and do not sleep well with or without the Bipap machine. Am aware apnea can contribute to high blood pressure

For sometime now I feel I can barely function and this is getting worse rapidly. My doctor prescribed hydrocholorthiazide. I took the first pill this a.m., 1/1/10. I’m not expecting instant healing but am curious how long does it take before it is effective, realizing the 12.5 mg dose may not be adequate.
I’m tired of feeling like death warmed over. Do notice I always feel worse when I get up from sleep or attempted sleep. Also the left side of my head, temple to in front of ear and down left side of neck ache / feel full like one experiences when there is a sinus problem. It is very hard for me to tell what is going on as I do have sinus issues which are actually worse after sinus surgery in 2006. It seems that after that surgery my health declined. My bp readings are running around 133 - 140 over 80 with heart rate from 80 to 90. I was walking 60-70 minutes daily, am not overweight, don’t smoke, am stressed d/t job. Still trying to walk but do not always accomplish 70 minutes. I’m confused, worried, feel lost.
