Feb. 10 2010 - my mom has nph. She is 85years old. Mom is getting worse. Incontinence, walking, memory. We thought she had alhemizers but today doctor confirmed nph. Next step is temporary,draining fluid 3 days in hospital to see how she reacts…then a stunt placed so fluid will drain. Mom does not want anything to do with doctors and hospitals. [more..]

My husband was diagnosed with NPH almost 2yrs ago. It is really getting difficult because his symptoms are increasing, and he hasn’t had any treatment. I try to remember it isn’t his fault, but I know treatment could make him better. [more..]
