My Parkinson’s and Mangosteen capsule

I suffer from Type 2 Diabetes, Parkinson’s Disease and Chronic Low Back Pain While my Diabetes is well under control, my Parkinson and Chronic Low Back Pain is not. The main symptom is the tremor in my right arm. It was getting very pronounced. Sometime in the middle of 2005, my Neurologist change my medication from Selegline to Madopar capsules and Broflex Syrup. By the end of 2005, the tremor was getting out of hand. On top of that, I was also prone to Sudden Sleep Onset sessions, severe Depression tiredness, zero sex life (Sildenafil has no effect on me at all)a very irritating runny nose which happens almost everyday, festinate walk, mask like facial expression and a hunchback posture due to my Chronic Low Back Pain.

December 2005 I went on holiday to the Philippines and was able to met up with my childhood classmate who is now a Medical practitioner. He introduced me to Mangosteen capsule saying only that it is a potent anti-oxidant and could be beneficial to my present condition. I said yes since he was giving me a years supply of Mangosteen capsule free of charged. I do not have to take the more expensive Co-enzyme Q10.

Back in London, on the 3rd of January, I started to take the Mangosteen capsule in conjunction with my usual medication which was Madopar capsule and Broflex syrup for my Parkinson’s and Metformin and Gliclazide for my Diabetes. starting on a very high dosage and gradually decreasing it.

On the 12 of January, I notice that the tremor in my right arm has subsided a bit. The next day, I went to see my Neurologist and reported the matter to him. He was surprised, specially with the Mangosteen capsule but was quite please with the result. He then ordered me to double the Madopar and Broflex dosage which I did.

On the 10th of February 2006, the tremor on my right arm has disappeared. Gone completely. Looking at me then, one would be hard pressed to recognised me as one who is suffering from Parkinson’s disease.

Since that day, I have not experienced anymore Sudden Sleep Onset sessions, hallucinations and Depressed moods.

My outlook in life has completely change and I seemed to be bouncing with energy. despite my festinate walk and hunchback like posture, I still adhere religiously to my physical excercise regime which is dressing up at lunchtime to go either to my local high street or to the West End of London for a bit of window shopping and a spot of Japanese Sushi or Chinese delicacies. But the best of all is the fact that my sex life is back in the sense that I now respond to Sildenafil.

All of these I put down to my continuous intake of Mangosteen capsules. I have been taking Mangosteen capsules continuously for more than 3 years now and I have never had a bad side effect.

I have a copy of the letter from my Neurologist to my GP detailing the result of his examination of me as well as his observations, his thoughts and comments on the Mangosteen capsule.
